2nd November 2021 commences the start of the second phase of the introduction of barcodes on GB stamps.
This phase will introduce large volumes of barcoded stamps into RMs systems, allowing for barcode readability tests to be carried out.
It will also ‘introduce’ the look and feel of barcoded stamps to the general public.
Christmas stamps are the most popular stamps (other then definitives) sold during the year and many people will only buy stamps in the run up to Christmas.
The 2021 Christmas stamps set consists of four values of barcoded stamps :-
2nd Class – available with barcode In Sheet Format and incorporated in Mini Sheet
2nd Class Large – with barcode in Sheet Format and Mini Sheet
1st Class – available with barcode In Sheet Format and incorporated into Mini Sheet
1st Class Large – available with barcode in Sheet Format and incorporated into a Mini Sheet
